Reasons Why Therapists Fail?

In this video, John shares with us his perspective on the real problem with the private practice counseling and therapy industry, and what we can do about it. John Clark here licensed counselor group practice owner and a guide for therapists trying to build a better business without all the overwhelm. In this video, I want to talk a little bit in an open-ended fashion about Reasons Why Therapists Fail (and What We Can Do About It) and fall short and their businesses. I think this will be controversial but it's been on my mind for a while and I think it's worth saying I think it's gonna sting some people and other people they're gonna go yeah that's true that's that's right.

So, if it stings you then maybe there's grain of truth to it for you and maybe it's it's too close to home but I think to be perfectly honest the reason why many therapists fail and and fail can be anything not whatever you see is failure not having a successful practice or never hitting six figures or whatever.

Not having a successful group practice your podcast fails your course fails whatever but I think why most therapists fail is we're too sensitive and I say we because I'm atherapist just like you. I can be too sensitive as well that's a downside that's an area that I have to work on but you know here's an example this is something that just doesn't really make sense to me you know recently I had done a call with a therapist and we figured out what was going on in their business what was going wrong.

Basically said yeah this is something I can help with.

Here's how I helped do you want to be a part of it and she said yes and so took her credit card made the charge and then the next day something kind of went wrong with the credit card and she wrote back this like one-page email it was all about.
